Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

• NET Qualification: The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR.

2. Exemption from NET

• Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from the NET requirement.

• Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in the world (QS/THE/ARWU) is also eligible.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in Academic Pay Level 10 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix, with an initial basic pay of ₹57,700/- per month plus standard allowances (DA, HRA, etc.) as per University of Delhi rules.
